It's official. I received the email today that told me they did not choose me to be a part of the new division of my company. I really thought I had a shot, especially since the opportunity came open for me to interview for it after initially being rejected. I was wrong.
Other opportunities for this same position will become available in the future. I'll try again and hopefully with different results.
